This patent-pending GPS accessory confirms the presence of up to 40 enrollees in a single location. It is designed for installation in group residential centers for enrollees as well as individual enrollee homes.
BluBox interface with BluTag Active and BluTag Hybrid. When the enrollee enters the RF signal range of BluBox, the BluTag device transmits a message to VeriTracks stating it recognizes the presence of BluBox and it curtails the receipt of GPS signals. When the enrollee leaves the RF signal range of BluBox or the unit is tampered or moved without authorization, BluTag immediately initiates the receipt of GPS signals.
BluBox cannot transmit monitoring data, but it records tampering and unauthorized movement events.
